桃太郎、鶴の恩返し、かちかち山、花咲かじじい、一寸法師が入っている。
お話を知っているので読みやすいかと思ったがやっぱりそれなりに時間はかかる。
色々、サボってしまい、２０日かかって読みきった。

手袋を買いに。新南芳吉の作品。
前回読んだ、「ごんきつね」の後に書かれた作品として読んでみると、随分と、話の方向が優しくなってる気がする。
多分、一番最初に読んでたら、ちょうどよかったのかもしれない。それでも、よくわからない、言い回しとかはあるんだよねぇ。吐息
なんだかんだで、２日かかって読みきった。

感想
ごんきつね。新南芳吉の作品。
いや、初めて読んだんだけど、なんとも言えない内容で日本語の方も何回か読み直してしまった。ラストがかなりハードなんだねぇ。
前回よりも簡単で読むのは楽だったが、のんびり読んでしまった。ひっかっかる文章もあって、結構、翻訳したり、 Reverso Context | 文脈に沿った翻訳 – 日本語から英語を使って調べたりし始めた。
なんだかんだで、４日かかって読みきった。

感想
鼻。芥川龍之介の作品。
これも、日本語で、読んだことがなかった。なんとなく知ってはいたのだけれど。
芥川龍之介は、英語の勉強で読むことになって変な感じだ。
前回の「藪の中」よりも簡単で読むのは楽だった。
前回の反省もあり、１日で読みきった。

薮の中。芥川龍之介の作品。
前回の「よだかの星」と同じく、日本語で、読んだことがなかったので、英語で読むとは夢にも思わなかった...。
７人の証言が書かれているのだけれど、それぞれの多分言い回しというか口調が違っていると思われ、その辺も面白かった、英語の文章として。とはいえ、わからない表現も多々あったのだけど。
そういえば、芥川龍之介の本てあんまり読んだ記憶がないなぁ。
簡単にしていったせいもあると思うが、少し、読むのが楽にはなった。
色々、サボってしまったので読み終わるまでに、14日間かかった。

よだかの星。宮沢賢治の作品。
日本語で、読んだことがなかったので、英語で読むとは夢にも思わなかった...。
ゴーシュよりもさらに短く簡単な文章になっている。
宮沢賢治は面白いなぁ、などと、久しぶりに読んだことない物語を読んで思ってしまった。
まだまだ、辞書も引き文法が分からない所は翻訳も使う。 簡単にしていったせいもあると思うが、少し、読むのが楽にはなった。
読み終わるまでに、2日間かかった。
